Here we'll list events and activities scheduled for the next couple of months. We'll update this page frequently, so check back often to stay up to date.

Several members of the CVFD were recently awarded with the "Green Cross" awards from the Hurst Company for using the Hurst tool during a successful extrication of victims from auto accidents.

The members receiving the awards were:

Upcoming Events in August 2008:

Saturday, August 16th @ 3:00 P.M. there will be a Benefit held at the United National Bank Building at the Marshall County Fairgrounds in Moundsville.

The Benefit is for the family of Captain Wayne E. Chambers who passed away on July 11th, 2008.

Menu items will include: 1/2 chicken or pulled pork with sides... Pop will be provided... BYOB.

There will also be a DJ providing the entertainment for the evening.

Ticket prices are $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door

tickets for children ages 6-12 will be $5.00..

Monetary donations are also being accepted.
